It is going to be extremely difficult for me to put into words what Lois Long meant to me during the sale of my home and purchase of a new one, but i will try. Right out of the gate I asked her to sell my home located in an area that she wasn't familiar with (80 miles away from Cape Girardeau) and she didn't blink an eye.
She took the time to explain the steps in the process and made sure that my wife and I had a good understanding before throwing a sign in our yard. As it turns out, our yard didn't need a sign, she was able to sell it in three days without one. Not only did she sell our home quickly, but she sold it
for 4% over what we expected it to sell for. My wife and I couldn't have been happier, but that happiness quickly faded into a slight panic when we realized that we would be without a home in 45 days. Once again, Lois put our minds at ease and presented us with a handful of homes that met our specific criteria. Within ten days, Lois had helped me, my wife, and our infant son receive an offer on our home, make an offer on another, and make plans to move our little family 80 miles. For the sake of full disclosure, I did have a great friendship with Lois before the process began, but after, my respect and admiration for her as a person, friend, and realtor has grown tenfold. I have thirty years to pay back the bank but I will spend the rest of my life trying to repay Lois for everything that she has done for my family. Thank you again, friend.
